中文摘要 近年來，台灣地區由於經濟的繁榮，國人對飲食觀念日趨重視，相對影響整體環境對營養觀念的改變，尤以病人的營養照顧，不論在質與量上，皆有明顯的提昇。同時因為目前嬰兒出生數正逐年下降，以及國人長期不良的就醫和用藥習慣，也因此造就台灣高齡化社會的來臨和慢性疾病的逐年增加。政府、民間醫療單位為接受此一改變，無不卯足全力，積極擴充慢性病房及照護機構。 中央健康保險局更在成立之初，為妥善照顧急、慢性病如手術開刀、糖尿病、腎臟病等病患之營養問題，又特別擬出一套給付制度，由此可見政府對於病人營養照顧的用心。相對於此提供醫療營養專業人員一個均衡完整的營養品，更是當務之急。 本研究即針對國內病患所使用之特殊營養食品--管灌營養品的市場需求，收集相關資訊如老年人口變化、病床數、居家護理機構家數、歷年用量等做一完整之探討，結果發現我國在八十二年已正式邁入高齡化社會，至八十八年六十五歲以上人口更高達187萬人，佔總人口比例為8.4%。而國內醫療院所病床數亦由八十年的每萬人口45.1床，增加至56.8床。居家護理機構由八十五年的125家，增加至299家，且由關稅總局所提供之數據得知，此類產品的進口金額，由八十四年的20,259,689美元，增加至八十九年的28,506,696美元。而從中央健保局所提供之住院管灌食給付金額資料中更可發現，八十五年至八十九年，每年平均成長25%。 由以上之結果讓我們得知，此市場正在蓬勃發展，因此希望此一結果對國內有意開發此一產品之食品、營養業界先進，本研究調查結果可提供先期作業之參考。 關鍵字：腸道營養，管灌飲食，查驗登記

ABSTRACT In recent years, because of the improvement of the economic, people in Taiwan now concern more about their daily diet. Consequently, Taiwanese’s idea toward what is nutritional is changing, and the quantity and quality of patients’ nutritional care has been improving greatly. Besides, the decrease of birth rate, the inadequate doctor visiting times as well as the drug abuse resulted in the aging of the society and the increase of the long term chronic diseases. Facing these changes, the government hospitals and the clinics are doing their best to expand the chronic disease wards and health care institutions. In order to take care of the nutritional problems of the acute and chronic diseases patients after the surgery or with the diabetes and renal disease, the Bureau of National Health Insurance developed a special co-payment policy as it first established. It shows the effort the government has improved the patients’ nutritional care. Hence, providing a complete and balance nutritional supplement product to the health care professionals is imminent. This study has a entire structure to introduction into the requirement in the market of tube-feeding nutriment — the special nutritious food used by the domestic patients, and the information gathered such as the change of old-people population, number of sickbeds, number of home nursing organizations, and the amount for use in the past years. The results show that the society formalize of this country did enter into senile society in 1993 and the number of people above the age of 65 was as high as 1,870,000 in 1999, accounting for 8.4% of the total population. The number of sickbeds in domestic hospitals and clinics had also increased from 45.1 in 1991 to 56.8 per 10,000 persons. The number of home nursing organizations had increased from 125 in 1986 to 299. According to the data provided by Directorate General of Customs, Ministry of Finance, the amount of importing this kind of products had increased from US$20,259,689 in 1995 to US$28,506,696 in 2000. It is further revealed from the data provided by Central Health Insurance Bureau that payment for tube-feeding food for hospitalized patients had increased 25% annually on the average from 1996 to 2000. The above results have informed us that this market is developing prosperously. Therefore, we hope that these results of study will serve as a reference in the lead operation for those senior traders in food and nutriment industries in this country who intend to develop this product.
